Set and Setting LP/CD
Set and Setting
OK. So any band that opens an album with an 11 minute song is either shooting themselves in the foot or shooting for the stars. Bardo Pond is the latter. This psyche-rock outfit from Philly mixes the finer points of distorto/skronk/drone with stoney, somnambulist head-nodding grooves which will ultimately captivate any listener who ventures near the band's shoegazing orbit. Bardo Pond's Set and Setting is a black hole of sound; you will get sucked in.
