released june, 2007. the "backyard" series was originally issued by wooden wand hassara in 2005 and 2006 as three micro edition CDRs. seeing as each of these discs came from editions of 100 or fewer copies, three lobed became concerned. that meant that there were a lots of folks out there who had not been exposed to hassara's own blend of droney instrumental electric guitar blues. boogie rock? sure, there's some of that in there. an out and out effects pedal blowout? why not! spin this disc, grab a cold one and let the good times flow.
backyard I-III collects eight of the nine tracks from the original CDRs (only "kismet ass" from "backyard I" is not present on this reissue). to make matters even more interesting, this collection features some new and stunning artwork from robert beatty (hair police). from a one-time pressing of 500 copies.
